In the video, Jay states,

"Like Protestantism, Sedevacantism is a system that will seek out proof-texts, no longer from Scriptures like the Protestants do but from the papal encyclicals and the councils to try to demonstrate at what point the specific apostasy happened..."

"Sedevacantism is in its own way another version of Donatism in that it seeks for this extreme purity on the basis of this intellectualized systematic Thomistic type view and when it doesn't get it, it splits and starts its own movement and it's actually worse and more fragmented and smaller than Protestantism."
